Directions to the Music Concourse Garage:
Parking for
cars and bicycles is available in the new Music Concourse Garage.
Access to the north entrance of the Music Concourse Parking is from
Fulton St. at 10th Ave. The Music Concourse Garage is open 7 days a week from 7:30 am to 10
p.m. year-round and parking in the garage is encouraged.
Take the Fremont St. exit from the Bay Bridge, make a left onto
Fremont St. Go 0.3 miles and turn left onto Pine St. Take Pine St.
for 2.7 miles past Presidio Ave. and bear left onto Masonic Ave.
Follow Masonic Ave. for 0.8 miles and make a right turn onto Fulton
St. Follow Fulton for 1.3 miles to 10th Ave. for direct access to
the Music Concourse Parking Facility.
Hours and rates:
Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m.-10 p.m. ($2.50/hour)
Weekends 7:30 a.m.-10 p.m. ($3.00/hour):
John F. Kennedy Drive in
Golden Gate Park is closed to traffic on Saturdays from April 4 through
September 27, 2008.
John F. Kennedy Drive will be closed from Tea Garden Drive to
Transverse Drive, and street parking within the park will be severely
limited. Tea Garden Drive will be open for drop off and pickup of
passengers.
Paid parking is available in the Music Concourse Garage, accessed at
10th Avenue and Fulton Street, or Martin Luther King Drive and Concourse
Drive. Museum visitors are encouraged to use
public transportation.
For people with disability placards one accessible parking space will
remain on John F. Kennedy Drive near Tea Garden Drive, four are located
in the tour bus parking lot across from the Japanese Tea Garden, and
four are on Martin Luther King Drive just west of Tea Garden Drive. |
